As a Training Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in supporting our training initiatives while assisting in various tasks related to course management. This hourly role is ideal for someone interested in learning about training and development, it will report to the Supervisor of Training and be based in our home office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the maintenance and upgrade of the learning management systems (LMS) LearnDash and Brainier.
• Enter questions, quizzes, and other course components into the Brainier LMS, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with the Training Team to organize and categorize course content for easy navigation and accessibility.
• Maintain detailed records of course content, progress, and completion status using Excel or similar tools.
• Assist in testing and troubleshooting courses to ensure they function correctly across different devices.
• Provide feedback on course usability, navigation, and user experience, focusing on continuous improvement efforts.
• Additional tasks as necessary.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of software tools commonly used in training and development, such as Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, as well as familiarity with online learning platforms preferred.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements,
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate new software tools.
• Work independently and collaboratively to support colleagues in achieving common goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Education in Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with Adobe programs such as InDesign and SharePoint preferred.
