Summary of Work:

Carry out day to day human resource functions including recruiting, on boarding, offboarding, providing payroll support, maintaining accurate personnel records and documents, performing administrative processes and advising team members on policy and procedures. This position serves as a liaison between Zone team members and State and County human resources partners and provides support to Zone administration and leadership. The Human Resource Generalist may be called upon to provide direct supervision to Administrative Assistant positions.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in human resources, management, business or related field ; high school diploma/equivalent or a combination of education, training and at least four years of experience which demonstrates equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Demonstrated experience in human resources and administrative support is required. Preference will be given to candidates with (S)PHR or SHRM-(S)CP Certification. Applicant must display strong interpersonal communication skills and adhere to the strictest confidentiality.
