Warbird Consulting Partners actively seeks experienced candidates to be considered for a role as Interim Director, Patient Access & Enterprise Scheduling. Reporting to the VP, Revenue Cycle, the Director will be responsible for the transformation of Patient Access through innovative use of technology, process improvement, and resource management. Utilizing analytics the Director will develop baseline measurements for data quality, patient experience, and costs/efficiency and then manage to specific measureable goals. Effective leadership, planning, and project management are basic requirements for this position. Responsibility also includes adherence to standards established by regulatory and accrediting bodies, including, but not limited to, the Joint Commission, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and CMS.

Rate - Competitive (W2) 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to optimize patient access and enterprise scheduling operations.
• Oversee staff operations, business planning, and budget development.
• Directs the patient access staff to ensure services are in compliance with professional, state, and federal standards.
• Establish and maintain effective processes and workflows for patient registration, scheduling, and pre-authorization procedures.
• Oversee staff operations in insurance verification, registration, and admitting.
• Develop, audit, and monitor patient access processes, procedures, and reporting to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Continuously evaluate patient satisfaction and feedback related to the access and scheduling processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in patient access, enterprise scheduling, and patient experience.

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field required; Master's degree preferred
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• Strong background in Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams
• Indepth knowledge of Patient Access processes, sheduling systems, and Revenue Cycle Management
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and privacy polieicies, such as HIPAA
• Excellent analytical and problemj-solving skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Experience with Sunrise, Allscripts preferred.
