Pool Technicianwww.wangard.comReports to: Residential Property ManagerEssential Duties:
  • Pool to be opened every weekend at a time directed by property management.
  • Pool to be closed seven days a week at a time directed by property management.
  • Pool to be cleaned and tested every Saturday, Sunday and Holiday sometime between the hours of 7am and 11am, plus any additional days as approved and directed by the property manager.
  • Check clubhouse and make sure everything is properly secured.
  • Check the pool pump and filters.
  • Test the swimming pool water quality and PH balance.
  • Test the pool chemicals and adjust as needed.
  • Pick up trash around pool and deck areas. Wipe down door and gate handles, other surfaces as directed by property manager.
  • Maintain records of all activities and document pool testing as needed.
  • Store pool equipment and tools in proper manner.
  • Log and report any concerns and equipment problems or water quality problem to manager.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Demands: Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The employee will be regularly required to sit; stand; walk; reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands; talk and hear. The employee may occasionally be required to climb. Specific vision requirements include the ability to use close vision; distance vision; color vision; depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will be required to work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods of time. Must possess the ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms and be available to work extended/flexible hours and weekends, as needed. Professional ExperienceNo professional experience is needed. Wangard will train. Attendance/TravelThis position is a part time hourly position. Wangard Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
