WANDER STAFFING is looking to add an Operating Room Registered Nurse to our Team ASAP! This position is located in Fort Hood at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC).

Schedule:
- Shift work Monday-Friday
- Not to exceed 80 hrs over a two (2) week period.

Professional Requirements:
- Associate degree in Nursing or Bachelors in Nursing
- Accredited by ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) OR The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
- Additional Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Minimum of one (1)-year of relative experience within the last three (3)-years, which includes the care of adults and newborns.
- Possess a current and unrestricted license to practice Registered Nurse in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Island.
- U.S. citizen
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.
- Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract.
Operating Room RN Specific Core Duties .
Ability to perform the following procedures as an OR registered nurse is required but not limited to:
- Assist surgeons and Anesthesiologists with complex or potentially life-threatening procedures such as insertion of invasive lines, chest tubes, tracheotomies or removal of foreign bodies from the trachea/Endotracheal tubes and nasogastric tubes
- Conscious/moderation sedation
- Pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative care
- Recover post-surgical patients including post-cesarean section patients under general anesthesia
- Administer and support infusion therapy services
