General Labor / Welding Assistant and Fabrication

Located in Arvada, CO

Perform general labor as needed by the company and under the direction of the department supervisor / manager, and the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

JOB SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

• Able to work in a fast pace work environment.
• Able to work a shift from 6 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 6 : 00 am-2 : 00 pm.
• Able to work mandatory overtime.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance. instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• The employee must be able to read blueprints and operate hand or air tools and bridge ports, calipers, squares, and rulers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB :

• Knowledge of basic hand tools and use of an electric grinder.
• Must be able to maintain a steady energetic pace.
• Hard-working -Reliable -Lift up to 50lbs, safely and steadily.
• Will include but are not limited to : -Fabrication / Cleanup of Metal and Aluminum
• Assistant, pickup and drop off of materials.
• Use an electric grinder to clean up welds so the material can be painted

EQUIPMENT EMPLOYEES WILL BE OPERATING

• Saw band & Horizontal
• Hand Grinder (Air & Electric)
• Drill Press
• Bridge-Port
• Various hand tools & air tools

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule :

• 10-hour shift
• Weekend availability
