Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Design Checker to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Reviewing CAD documents for accuracy and completeness
• Daily interaction with Designers and Detailers regarding CAD files/documents
• Identifying errors and corrections needed
• Utilization of CAD software daily - will open, manipulate and modify specific files

Qualifications

• Experience checking in the automotive, defense, or aerospace industries
• Ability to communicate in a constructive manner
• Previous CAD Design experience is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive BIW tooling
• Checking in Unigraphics/NX experience
• Design capabilities
