Responsibilities
- Prepare design layouts on complex units and mechanisms for the Defense Industry
- Make design computations as required
- Prepare general specifications, such as bills of materials
- Work with layout drafters and detailers to achieve a completed design
- Develop creative drawings from design objectives established by others
- Use manual or computer skills to complete design drawings
- Meet all customer requirements
- Training in CREO is offered if the candidate has no prior experience *
- 2 years experience in Product Design using Creo or Pro-E software
- Demonstrated work history using a sketch-based CAD software
- Experience in modeling from assembly drawings/packages
- Sheet Metal and/or structural design experience
- Solid Modeling and assembly design experience
- Analytical ability to recognize and solve design and mechanical problems
- Oral and written communication skills
- Only United States Citizens can be considered
- Must Possess or be able to obtain a security clearance
- Associates in Vehicle Design or Product Development
- Vehicle Component Mechanical Design
- Powertrain, Chassis, or Body Design
- Electrical Design - Routing & Packaging
