The Walter Mendez Atelier is looking for an assistant to support our production and showroom teams. We need candidates who are proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and time management skills. This position requires the ability to lift up to 30lbs. The ideal candidate has some experience as an assistant in the fashion industry and basic sewing skills.

This position will challenge you in many aspects of the fashion industry. Responsibilities will include:

• Running errands & picking-up deliveries as requested
• Assisting at client fittings, stylist pulls, photo shoots, fashion shows, etc.
• Maintaining showroom & production spaces and inventory
• Assisting production with basic cutting & sewing, trimming beading, etc
• Managing, organizing, and documenting archives of inventory pieces / products
• Answering and responding to client phone calls and emails
