Pharmacy Team Leader, Evening ShiftPlano, Texas | PharmacyAs a Pharmacy Team Leader at Children's Health, you'll help make life better for children by performing the duties of a pharmacist as well as supervising the daily operations of pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include:

• Compounding, labeling and packaging medications, providing advice regarding medication use, dosage, side effects and composition, and monitoring patient profiles.
• Participating in the selection, training, orientation and assignment of staff.
• Evaluating employee performance, and conducting coaching and counseling when appropriate.

Experience

• Required: At least two years of job-related experience
• Preferred: At least three years of job-related experience and completion of a residency

Education

• Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of pharmacy or equivalent experience
• Required: Completion of a 20-hour ACPE-accredited IV training course
• Preferred: Doctorate of pharmacy and completion of a pediatric clinical pharmacy residency, or equivalent experience

Licenses and certifications

• Required: Current Texas licensure and registration as a pharmacist
• Required: PALS certification for all emergency care and critical care clinical pharmacists
• Required: BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Required: ALS certification for all emergency care clinical pharmacists within 180 days of hire
