Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and pharmacy services, with a focus on critical care and acute care settings.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
- Process medication orders from healthcare providers
- Provide excellent patient service by answering inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician*
- Proficiency in medical terminology and medication administration
- Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
- Excellent patient care skills and attention to details
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
