Walker Methodist is a non-profit, Minnesota-owned provider of senior living and health care communities in the metropolitan Twin Cities. Services include skilled nursing care, post-acute care, memory loss care, adult day program, assisted living, housing with services, short-term rehabilitation, and the Walker Methodist Foundation. Walker Methodist seeks Float Nurses (LPN & RN) to be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, providing and supporting comprehensive nursing care to residents.

Salary Range for LPN: $25.66 - $34.88

Salary Range for RN: $34.16 - $46.43

Locations: Mora, Cambridge, Pine City, Rush City, Anoka, Minneapolis, Lakeville, West St. Paul, South Saint Paul and Edina

Responsibilities:

• Monitor Resident Assistant performance, ensures completion of resident cares and medication administration.
• Responsible for direct care, monitoring and evaluation of services provided to residents.
• Assist the Director of Health Services with medication systems management and compliance.
• Facilitate a verbal and written communication system with Health Services Director, Complex Supervisor, caregivers, physicians and family members to ensure effective, continuous resident care and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.

• Requirements:

• Current, active licensure in the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Current BLS Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
• One year assisted living or long term care experience required.
• Previous experience working with a senior population preferred.
• Ability to travel to various Walker Methodist communities.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
