Walker Healthforce is seeking a Quality Management Specialist I for a healthcare client located In Chicago, IL. This is a contract opportunity.
Start Date: ASAP
WAGE TYPE: W2

This position involves performing on-site medical record reviews to evaluate the delivery of care about Enterprise clinical practice guidelines. Responsibilities also include facilitating and monitoring assigned quality improvement projects, gathering and analyzing information, and developing recommendations to promote high-quality and cost-effective outcomes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years UM, case management, quality improvement, and/or project management experience
- IL RN, LPN, RT or other medical specialty unrestricted license
- 3 years clinical practice experience
- Experience conducting presentations for member and/or provider training
- Current Illinois driver s license
- Ability to travel, including overnight stays
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Data analysis experience
- PC proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in coordinating and providing interface with medical groups and other practitioners regarding clinical quality improvement initiatives
