Position Overview:

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels such as social media, email, and content marketing.
• Using community engagement best practices within social accounts to build audiences and grow following
• Manage the company tik tok page utilizing trends / sounds to capture viewers and drive attention to the Walden Media Group brand
• Capable of efficiently managing multiple and diverse client accounts simultaneously, ensuring each receives tailored attention and strategic direction.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and generate innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
• Help create and curate content for social media platforms, including writing copy, creating graphics, and scheduling posts.
• Assist in the coordination of marketing events, including trade shows, conferences, and product launches.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and report on key metrics using tools like Google Analytics or social media insights.
• Support the maintenance and update of the company's website and other digital assets with fresh content and imagery.
• Assist in the creation and distribution of email marketing campaigns, including list management, segmentation, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with external partners such as vendors, agencies, and influencers to execute co-marketing initiatives.
• Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including organizing files, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars.

Qualifications

• Interest in learning social media / in depth marketing strategies and growing a career in the agency space.
• Bachelor's degree (or relevant experience) in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
• Understanding of marketing principles and techniques such as brand voice and identity - visual aesthetics, design and storytelling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms such as social media management tools, email marketing software, and content management systems.
• Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for marketing campaigns.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues from various departments.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
• Previous internships or work experience in marketing or related fields is advantageous.

Travel and Location: This position will be based in Austin, TX. The individual will be expected to be in the Walden Media Group studio in downtown Austin for a significant portion of the work week. Some occasional short-term client travel outside of Austin and outside of Texas may be required.
