Essential Functions

An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation. Provides customer service by acknowledging customers. Identifies customer needs. Assists customers with purchasing decisions. Locates merchandise. Resolves customer issues and concerns. Promotes company products and services while maintaining a safe shopping environment. Maintains assigned area of responsibility in accordance with company policies and procedures. Handles claims and returns. Zones the area. Arranges and organizes merchandise/supplies. Identifies shrink and damages. Maintains inventory accuracy for the facility by binning and picking merchandise utilizing the inventory management system. Completes bin audits. Works inventory exceptions. Corrects shelf capacities. Receives and stocks merchandise throughout the facility and organizes and maintains assigned area of responsibility by following company safety, cleaning, and operating procedures. Utilizes equipment according to company policies and procedures. Sets up displays. Maintains modular integrity. Receives, sorts, stages, and delivers merchandise. Completes paperwork, logs, and other required documentation. Fulfills customer orders by reviewing orders and locating, preparing, and packaging merchandise. Ensures the accuracy of orders prior to pick up. Makes appropriate product substitutions and consults with customers as needed to ensure satisfaction. Follows up on out-of-stock merchandise. Responsible for system readiness and operations, including safety, system checks, bots, workstations, catwalks, and roll seal doors. Checks, restarts, and releases systems to associates to start their workflows (for example, picking, dispensing). Responsible for system shutdown, including tote audits, test execution, and extraction/induction of robots. Documents and reports issues in the form of trouble tickets. Collect logs, pictures, and videos to provide relevant information to engineering to investigate failures. Ensures high system availability and uptime. Coordinates any system issues with the Team Leads. Provides guidance on any actions needed to reduce or minimize the impact on customers. Recovers all down bots in freezer, chilled or ambient zones that went offline during operations by following standard operating procedures and wearing personal protective equipment. Manages all system activities from the maintenance cage command center. Monitors dashboards for any abnormalities and takes corrective actions. Resolves order or inventory issues. Resets and restarts sub systems and performs bot recoveries to minimize operational impacts. Creates stagged orders to resolve tote issues and supports operational processes (for example, ICQA , Audits). Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback

Physical Activities The following physical activities are necessary to perform one or more essential functions of this position. Communicates effectively in person or by using telecommunications equipment. Enters and locates information on electronic device. Grasps, turns, and manipulates objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Moves up and down a ladder. Moves up and down stairs. Moves, lifts, carries, and places merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Observes associate, customer, or supplier behavior. Reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Safely operates large power equipment. Squats, kneels, or crawls for extended periods of time. Stands for long periods of time. Visually inspects equipment. Visually locates merchandise and other objects. Creates documents, reports, etc., using a writing instrument (such as a pencil or pen) or electronic device. Presents information to small or large groups and individuals. Visually verifies and reads information, often in small print Work Environment Working in the following environment is necessary to perform one or more of the essential functions of this position. Continually moves throughout the work area. Works in areas requiring exposure to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold, and/or wet, damp, or drafty conditions. Works varying shifts as required. May work with substances that require special handling. Moves through narrow, confined spaces such as stacks of merchandise or supplies, storage areas, and closets. Moves over sloping, uneven surfaces such as the parking lot, building perimeter, receiving bays, sections of the facility which have temporary cracks, or areas under repair. Moves over slippery surfaces in the work area as well as other areas that may become slippery during inclement weather.
