Responsible for planning and delivering theme based instruction in a topic that will play out across each week. Given that students are attending multiple weeks, the focus for each week. Participate as part of the program team through morning and closing meetings and shared activities, as well as duty coverage (recess, lunch, snack.) Themes are intended to be educational and fun. They should provide an overarching connection for the week experience. Games? Science Experiments? Be creative thinking about what you’d like to do! The themes make this edu-camp and bring excitement. (does not require a teaching endorsement, but rate of pay varies based on if individual holds a teaching license).

7.75 hours/day to include a minimum of 45 minutes of preparation daily and 30 minutes of paid lunch. May include additional 2 hours for initial planning. Preparation work needs to be completed prior to the start of the summer program.
