Kitchen AM/PM Job Description

Job Objective:

To prepare/cook/assemble food in a quality manner; To ensure the smooth running of the kitchen at all times and to prepare/assemble food according to recipes with the key aim of delivering food to our customers within 10 minutes.

Main Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Prepare for the opening and/or closing of the kitchen
  • Prepare/cook/assemble and serve food items quickly and efficiently, meeting our quality standards
  • Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic and tidy at all times
  • Work safely with/around kitchen equipment and monitor, deal with &/or notify other management with any maintenance issues
  • Always adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Carry out instructions given by the management team and head office
  • Maintain accurate food-ordering and stocking levels, including all kitchen materials by communicating to Purchasing Manager(s) and other staff members
  • Manage wastage through correct product measurement

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25.5 – 34 per week
