Wagoner County Patrol Deputy 
We pay competitive salaries for elite law enforcement professionals: Smart, self-motivated, honorable public servants with ambition and devotion to law enforcement. 
Top out pay: $4250 per month ($51,000 per year)
CLEET certified deputies: $3570 per month ($42,800 per year)
NON-CLEET certified applicants: $3047 per month ($36,564 per year)
Plus a benefit Package paid by the County of $10,200 per year offer to all full-time employees. Benefits include holidays, sick pay, paid overtime, pension, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
We value work/life balance, affording staff more free days through our 12-hour shift program.
The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office is committed to ensuring our deputies have the skills and tools they need to excel. We provide comprehensive training and continuing education and equip our deputies with the latest equipment - from well-maintained vehicles equipped with state-of-the-art technology, to judiciously maintained and upgraded pistols, rifles, and other implements.
Wagoner County encompasses 568 square miles of city, rural, and lake communities. Sheriff Chris Elliott's leadership and collaboration with partner agencies have so far led to a 50 percent reduction in crime, making Wagoner County one of the safest counties in the state.

Requirements:
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High School Education or G.E.D.
  • Oklahoma Driver’s License.
  • Possess good computer skills/aptitude for technology.
  • Good physical condition.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Respect for authority.
  • Enthusiastic about law enforcement work.
  • Team player.
  • Shift work, with two shift bids a year.
  • Must be able to thrive in an environment that demands excellence.
  • This position is open to CLEET and NON-CLEET certified applicants. 
All applicants must pass a drug test, background investigation and a physical agility course.
