We offer clients a unique blend of advisory services across public relations and strategic communications, business strategy and consulting, digital marketing and events, regulation, and public policy.

Wachsman is now seeking a talented Account Coordinator, known internally and to clients as an Executive, for immediate hire. This is an entry-level role (equivalent to an Account Coordinator at other communication agencies).

This is a fully remote role and we are open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.

Duties:

  • Assisting in the strategic day-to-day account work for clients, supporting the execution of Public Relations campaigns.
  • Supporting teams with daily internal and external communications for clients.
  • Coordinating media relations efforts, including media list development, drafting press materials and pitches, client messaging, daily media monitoring, and reporting
  • Conducting competitive research to help generate story ideas and pitch angles
  • Providing administrative support, including but not limited to scheduling and preparing for client calls, creating agendas, reports, and action items

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-2 years of internship or relevant experience in Public Relations or communications; agency environment strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Proactive problem-solving and solutions-oriented.
  • Driven, detail-oriented, and extremely organized
  • Motivated to excel in a fast-paced team environment. 
  • Interest in the emerging technology/crypto/blockchain/Web3 industry is a plus
