I. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary duty of a coordinator is to assist supervisor in order to meet production goals. This duty requires exercising independent judgment. This position is managed by supervisor or manager.

• Directs the workforce within a department to complete daily assignments; plans and organizes work assignments, etc. at supervisor's direction.
• Adheres to and enforces the general safety plans, procedures and policies.
• Ensures work is performed at a quality level consistent with Wabash standard practice.
• Trains and coaches new and existing department associates.
• Monitors and addresses individual and team productivity.
• Completes reports and paperwork as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Plant Manager

• QUALIFICATIONS

• High School degree or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Must have ability to get along with others exceptionally well, building credibility and rapport.
• Must have excellent attendance record.
• Ability to train, coach and motivate others.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have ability to learn and use required computer applications.
• Must possess required math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must have ability to understand and apply engineering specifications, Change Orders, and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Good organization skills, problem-solving and decision making skills required.
• Must work well under time pressures; meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime.
