About the Role:
The Materials Manager is primarily responsible for the daily activities of the materials and purchasing functions. Reviews purchasing decisions, orders, and vendor contracts. Oversees the correct material inventory levels and line stocking at point of use in a manufacturing environment and plans accordingly. Materials Manager verifies the receipt of items and authorizes payment. It is expected to be a resource to other departments as needed to support the operations.
