Click on the link below to learn what our employees have to say about Evonik: https://careers.evonik.com/en/about/meet-the-team/ RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to safely operate fork trucks to provide material movement support by delivery and return of materials Assist in completion of inventory cycle counting Familiar with SAP/WM system Documents work according to standards Follows written and verbal direction Learns and assists with basic job operations including weighing of materials, physical and electronic movement of materials, receipt of materials, dispensing, and sampling Learns and utilizes all forms, records, and reports to assure compliance with internal and external requirements Learns relevant policies and procedures and applies them to the job Demonstrates basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and working with fractions) Accept and support decisions Works well with others Acknowledges and learns to build on the ideas and contributions of others Executes job responsibilities consistently Respects diverse opinions Accepts responsibility for personal actions Performs regular housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work area Complies with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations. Reads, understands, and follows the Safety and Environmental cautions provided with the MSDS or other safety and environmental guidance Understands and follows the departmental expectations regarding attendance, accountability and communication with supervision Enthusiastic about self development and learning Respects diverse opinions Completes all training prior to execution of activity REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance on a routine basis. Able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Able to ascend/descend stairs. Able to enter confined space. Hazardous conditions involving the use acids and caustics. Ability to handle potential allergens May be required to work 12 hour shifts, days and nights Able to work in a high noise/high temperature environment.
