• Oversee mill operations, including inventory, production and logistics.

• Hire, train, manage and motivate mill staff.

• Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to ensure that all Quality and Compliance requirements are met.

• Foster an environment of safety-consciousness, quality, performance, efficiency and collaboration.

• Report production metrics, issues and concerns to senior management.

• Support budget, project and headcount planning initiatives.

• Post-secondary education in Agriculture or Business is an asset.

• 2 years of experience managing production staff, ideally in an agricultural production environment.

• Knowledge of a range of production processes and metrics.

• An engaging leader highly focused on safety and performance development.

• A skilled trainer, communicator and problem-solver, with a positive, constructive management style.

• Energetic and driven; well-suited to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Technologically savvy, with the ability to learn and operate a range of relevant software, from MS Office to MES to CRM and logistics systems.

• Mechanically inclined; experience operating and troubleshooting mill equipment is a strong asset.
