Our client is a leading provider of transportation and logistics solutions, is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Transportation Administrator to join our growing team in Washington. Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate records of driver logs, employment documents, vehicle maintenance, and other operational paperwork

• Oversee the hiring process for new drivers and staff, including posting job advertisements, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks

• Process driver payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment of wages

• Handle invoicing, billing, and accounts receivable to ensure timely collection and accurate financial records

• Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure all required documentation is completed and submitted for shipments

• Maintain regulatory compliance by ensuring that all necessary permits, licenses, and certifications are up to date

• Provide administrative support to the logistics team, including data entry, filing, and office management tasks

• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in administration, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry

• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications

• Familiarity with transportation regulations, permits, and licensing requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is a plus
