Job Title: Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer
Job Description:
You will be part of a tightly integrated team that designs and develops processing algorithms and test code for sensitive detection and accurate identification of signals of interest in complex RF environments. You will also help to develop novel waveforms to support unique mission requirements of our customers. Specific DSP functions include accurate measurement of signal frequency, bandwidth/baud rate and determination of modulation and time of arrival. You will help implement, test and document optimized software modules that provide key functionality and will work closely with our software, firmware and production teams to integrate functionality and verify performance. You will also have opportunities to participate in program reviews with US Government officials to include presentation of development status and performance results. Your primary work location will be at our Lone Tree, CO headquarters in the metro-Denver area. On occasion you will work with our production team in Colorado Springs. Your travel outside of CO will be limited to a few times a year at most.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and develop algorithms and test source code for digital signal processing and communications applications
Design and perform software module testing
Document design and code including theory of operation
Test embedded products with other software modules and hardware
To be Successful:
**Required :
3 Years Experience in Digital Signal Processing
Strong technical background in DSP and communications theory
Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C , Python and Java
Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to obtain and hold a SECRET-level security clearance
Preferred :
3-7 years of relevant experience DSP algorithm development
Some experience with RF geolocation techniques
Familiarity with RF circuit design
Understanding/background in antenna theory
Familiarity with embedded programming and FPGA/ARM and GPU-based signal processing
Ability to obtain and hold a TOP SECRET-Level 2 security clearance (with SCI access)
