We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle DBA Consultant to join our Client's team in a hybrid position based in Brooklyn, NY. If you are passionate about Oracle OMS and GIS environments and have the technical prowess to support Oracle environments effectively, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:

• Support Oracle OMS and eSRI-based GIS environments and databases, ensuring they meet our Client's standards
• Monitor and optimize ArcGIS and ArcFM environments to ensure peak performance
• Maintain sync jobs and promptly report failures to Application PoCs
• Support build deployments, configurations stores, and ongoing database maintenance
• Execute database optimizations for specific applications, including updating software as required
• Perform SDE compressions, index rebuilds, and manage growth, scalability, tasks, and schedules
• Handle data synchronization, replication, and maintain versioned and non-versioned geospatial data models for the Client
• Maintain and migrate Esri ArcGIS Enterprise systems (10.6.1)
• Administer GIS systems (ArcGIS, MapInfo, Oracle Spatial) and databases (Oracle Applications, SAP, MySQL, DB2, and SQL Server)
• Conduct installation, configuration, upgrade, and management of GIS applications across Unix and Windows servers
• Manage ArcGIS user accounts, services, and permissions and deploy disaster recovery plans for SDE and Oracle databases
• Optimize Oracle database design and automate maintenance activities using PL/SQL
• Monitor and optimize OS file system utilization, I/O, CPU, and network performance on Unix and Windows
• Support application developers and end-users, providing robust backup and recovery strategies

Mandatory Qualifications: (Please read carefully. They MUST be shown on your resume)

• 3 years of experience creating stored procedures in SQL
• Advanced SQL development using Oracle SQL Developer
• Backend Database and optimal Oracle database design
• Senior Database Administration expertise

Nice to have:

• Experience with ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, and Portal
• Familiarity with Oracle Utilities
