VP Holdings,LLC is Hiring a Facilities Lead Near Saint Petersburg, FL

Summary:

Assists in managing the activities of the building Facilities and provides the necessary leadership to meet the present and future organizational goals set by the Company. Develops facilities technician to perform daily tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Manages Facilities area consistent with Lean philosophy and methodology and best practices for world class building and facilities processes and procedures. Makes recommendations to update maintenance techniques, and equipment meeting Lean and Company policies and business objectives.
  2. Holds ultimate accountability for selection, coaching and development, and management of facilities staff. Provides and supports a program of continuous learning for the facilities and maintenance personnel. Maintains awareness of daily plans through communication with Managers from all shifts.
  1. Leads efforts to select outside contractors and service providers to meet operational requirements. Obtains and documents quotes/bids. Evaluates proposals for specification compliance and makes recommendation of award. Coordinates and/or acts as a liaison between the company and contractors, vendors, other firms, organizations, suppliers, etc. In conjunction with Engineering, coordinates installation and/or relocation of new/existing machinery or equipment to include arranging for necessary utilities. Provides support as required to the Manager, EHS in maintaining environmental compliance in the areas of hazardous waste, air quality and wastewater discharge to include working with specialist consultants, state, and local authorities.
  1. Approves, signs and/or implements applicable documents, actions, processes, programs, etc. Reviews and/or inspects work for quality, accuracy, and completeness. Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or company rules, standards, policies, and guidelines, etc. Maintains awareness of facilities support requests, approves requests as required, and continuously monitors applicable metrics and customer satisfaction levels.
  2. Participates in the planning, designing, construction and maintenance of facilities. Responsible for building, office, landscaping and other CTM property upkeep and necessary modifications. 
  3. Responds to off hour requests for facility related support issues from operations leadership or facility security. Utilizes building automation systems and other facility monitoring applications to monitor and adjust facility and equipment functions remotely.
  1. Utilizes SAP PM module to analyze trends to continuously improve the effectiveness of facilities personnel and minimize equipment downtime.

Job Title: Lead, Facilities

Education/Experience:

Minimum five (5) years experience in Facilities or Plant Maintenance preferred. Experience managing, negotiating, and overseeing the work of outside equipment vendors and service providers preferred.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical documents, instructions, or reports in English. Ability to respond to common inquiries from peers, leads/managers, or other departmental personnel. Ability to communicate in English, job related information verbally or in writing as required.

Math Ability:

Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of and general application skills in Windows office environment. SAP navigation skills preferred.

Leadership Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination evaluation, and development of human resources required to accomplish business objectives.
