LinQuest has an immediate need for a Senior Software Developer with experience in Python and/or Rust programming and strong coding skills to support the development of autonomous system architectures. This position requires the ability to execute software development and testing, organize small teams to generate software deliverables, and present findings to external customer groups. US Citizenship and a security clearance are required. Also, the applicant must have U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Responsibilities:
• Guide a multi-vendor team to provide high-quality software solutions for autonomous systems.
• Ensure adherence to code quality standards and Agile DevOps best practices.
• Interface with external customer groups. Required Skills and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math; Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related degree).
• 8 years of related professional experience (or a Master’s degree with 5 years of related experience).
• Experience organizing and leading developer teams to develop software capability in response to externally generated requirements.
• Strong coding skills (Python and Rust programming languages strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to build, integrate, and troubleshoot software components.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a secret clearance Preferred Skills & Experience:
• General knowledge of autonomous software systems and frameworks.
• General knowledge of AI/ML software and techniques.
• General knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Jira, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, etc.)
• Extensive, specialized knowledge and demonstrated leadership performing agile software development.
