Job Title: Safety Compliance Specialist

We are looking for a reliable Safety Specialist for a Midsize Trucking Company . The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and pay attention to detail. You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with little supervision.

*Responsibilities*

Conduct new hire pre-employment road test.
Conduct weekly new hire driver orientation classes.
Conduct onsite driver/vehicle safety inspections.
Monitor Lytx drive cam events and counsel drivers.
Monitor hours of service violation reports and counsel drivers.
Other responsibilities as may be assigned.

*Skills*

* Proven experience as a Safety Specialist or relevant position
* Tech-savvy
* Experience in data entry
* Knowledge of PCS a plus
* Proficient in English (oral and written)
* Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
* Active listener with excellent communication skills
* Sound judgement and critical thinking
* High school diploma

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
