Voss Recruitment is Hiring an Equipment technician Near Houston, TX
The role of the Equipment Technician is to provide support to the Operations team and to perform routine maintenance / operation of Specialty Chemicals injection skids during product field trials at customer sites across the United States.
Main Responsibilities :
- Maintain High levels of HSE standards during Operation and maintenance work.
- Provide hands-on operational support to ensure proper skid operation in a timely manner
- Work with the Operations team and customer technicians to assist with installations and commissioning of DRA skids as needed
- Troubleshoot equipment errors via thorough inspection and testing methods
- Assemble, install, maintain piping systems and related electrical, instrumentation and hydraulic equipment. Repair and replace motors, sensors, gauges, etc., as needed
- Provide electro-mechanical root-cause analysis troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting low voltage, single-phase, and three-phase equipment up to 480V
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics and P&ID drawings
