Vonachen Group is looking to hire a Financial Analyst based out of our office in Bettendorf, IA.Job Skills / Requirements
This strategic position with upward mobility is designed for the aspiring businessperson with an accounting background and training. The Accounting Analyst works in a team-oriented environment to provide management with accurate and timely financial data specific to the Company. Duties include financial statement preparation support, examining and analyzing a company’s accounts, billing, ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures. This position works with internal and external customers and must maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, high quality service levels, and adhere to company policies. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.
Job responsibilities:
  • Assist with the monthly financial statement closing process.
  • Prepare, verify, and process weekly and monthly invoices and purchases orders; this includes customer who have mandated portals for which they receive invoices
  • Maintain accounting databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed
  • Communicate with clients and customers to request and arrange payments
  • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions and entering them into the general ledger or accounting software
  • Updating client accounts based on payment or contact information
  • Create reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses
  • Daily reconciliation of all Vonachen Group companies accounts receivable ledgers to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Job requirements:

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high-level of performance
  • Customer-oriented and friendly, works well with a diverse team
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Willingness to attend training related to industry practices and procedures
 Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 
  • 1-3 years of related work experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to clearly communicate financial information orally and in writing to people at different levels across the organization
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and reprioritize projects quickly as needed
 Physical Requirements
  • Sit for long periods of time
  •  Repeat the same movements
  • Frequent bending and twisting
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Additional Information / Benefits
Details:
  • Full Time 1st Shift- with some evening and weekend work as needed
  • Monday- Friday
  • $60,000-$70,000 annual salary
  • Eligible for year-end bonus
  • Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), STD, LTD
