The Volusia Flagler Family YMCA has several openings in the sports department. We are looking for energetic, positive individuals that can referee all youth sports including basketball, soccer, volleyball, tee ball and specialty sport camps.

Ideal candidates are individuals who are great role models, provide excellent customer service and a positive atmosphere for all children to learn and become better athletes. Sports officials may also assist the sports supervisor with promotion of all youth sports programs and ensures that all sports equipment is in safe condition for play. Must be empathetic and listen, communicate, and negotiate understanding when dealing with conflict. The ability to utilize non-threatening methods to address sensitive issues and inappropriate behavior or performance.

This is a part time position and includes free membership. Compensation is based on experience.

Drug and background screening are required.
