JOB SUMMARY: Maintains efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds of the Volunteers of America North Louisiana and all related programs. This is a full time position.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: While this job has no supervisory responsibilities, techs may be assigned temporary employees in certain circumstance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED);

or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: While no specific certifications are required, any related designations will be helpful in the performance of a Maintenance techs duties.
