THE TYPE OF RN WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're searching for someone who can meet the following qualifications:

• Registered nurse certification in Tennessee

Experience in mental health is preferred, but it's not required.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OUR REGISTERED NURSE

This nursing position works 8 am to 8 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

You play a pivotal role in assisting individuals facing mental health crises. Your responsibilities extend to implementing the unit's policies and procedures, ensuring a structured and supportive environment. You're in charge of supervising Psychiatric Technicians on shift, collaborating seamlessly to address the daily living activities of your patients. Additionally, you take charge of implementing medical procedures prescribed for each patient in the CSU, meticulously screening calls and questions related to medication.

Beyond that, you arrange educational sessions for patients regarding their medications, documenting each interaction. Monitoring lab work within medication guidelines is crucial, and you actively contribute to maintaining and supporting patients receiving medications through individual evaluations or group efforts. You handle prescription dispensing in consultation with the psychiatrist, and your responsibilities extend to completing Admission Assessments and crafting detailed Treatment Plans. Active participation in staffing rounds further underscores your commitment to providing holistic and compassionate care to those in need!
