Volt is immediately hiring for a Shipper / Receiver I at Mechanicsburg, PA.

As a Shipper / Receiver I , you will :

• The Shipper / Receiver performs all functions associated with material movement through the Distribution Center, including material handling, paperwork, and recordkeeping.
• Operates powered order pickers, forklifts, turret trucks, electric / manual pallet jacks, stretch wrapping machine, laser scanners, etc.

May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on highs (up to 30 ft).

• Follows all DC procedures and demonstrates an understanding of DC standards and goals to achieve total Customer Satisfaction.
• Loads and unloads trucks and interfaces with common carriers.
• Signs bill of ladings for incoming shipments and process IBL, packing lists for receipts from vendors using SAP
• Checks incoming product against documentation to verify accuracy, sorts of products and prepares it for put away.
• Put product away in available space by proper area / zone using order pickers, turret trucks, pallet jacks and barcode scanners.
• Breaking down / lumping of floor loaded containers.

This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate will have :

• Receiver : This role requires you to have both basic computer skills and forklift experience.
• High School diploma / GED or higher education required.

Payrate Range in Between - $18 - $19.80 / hourly

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
