JOB PURPOSE:
Performs accounts receivable and accounting functions according to established procedures or as directed by accounting supervisor.
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk you will:
  • Invoice daily sales orders
  • Invoice Drop shipments AP and AR invoices
  • Receive and process incoming payments, including checks, wire transfers, credit card payments, and electronic payments.
  • Accurately apply payments to the correct customer accounts in the accounting system.
  • Identify and resolve payment discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile daily cash receipts and investigate and resolve variances.
  • Answers accounts receivable phone inquires and follow-ups
  • Calls and/or mails correspondence to customers as necessary in order to update accounts
  • Monitor collections and contact and follow up with customers if needed to collect payment
  • Assists the Accounting Supervisor
This is a full time position
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong administrative, communications, and customer skills are essential
  • Requires tact and courtesy in dealing with individuals both inside and outside
  • Math capacity, attention to detail, and ability to organize and handle multiple activities.
  • High school diploma
  • Must be able to work on routine assignments with knowledge and good judgment
Pay range $22.00-25.00/hr
  • Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
