In 2011 we carried out the first-ever piloted flight of a fully electric multicopter and have since conducted more than 1,500 public and private test flights across the world (www.volocopter.com). Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Working Student in Project Management to join our pre-development team to work on one of our publicly funded research projects called AUTRANS. As a Project Manager you will play a key role in supporting the successful technical execution our development on automated single load operations.Your mission during this flight:You will support a publicly funded project daily operations towards its final demo flight.You will maintain the project development timeline using Jira.You will ensure transparency regarding project timelines and critical paths to relevant stakeholders.You will track risks, tasks, and open issues. You will escalate issues according to the internal escalation path when necessary.You will maintain budget reports for the funding agency.You will coordinate and prepare documents to assist in decision-making.QualificationsCheck in your professional skills: You are currently studying towards an engineering degree (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable subject) with a focus on Aerospace and/or ManagementFirst relevant working experience - already completed projects or internships in technical environmentsCommunicative team playerExcellent organization & project management skillsExcellent MS Office Skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Experience and skills working with JiraYou show initiative, enjoy accountability, and have a solution-oriented way of workingStrong analytical skills, an affinity for numbers, and attention to detailExcellent English, written and spoken (German of advantage)You are available for minimum 6 months on site in Munich.Additional InformationOur Volocopter flight includes: Fast-growing high-tech company with a superb network of investors and partners Chance to shape the future of aviation Help us to create groundbreaking new projects - from scratch!
