WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Financial Analyst will report to the FP&A Manager; assist in the financial reporting and planning activities; analyze variances & business trends; and perform ad-hoc financial analysis, as necessary.

As part of the Americas Finance team, this role will collaborate with department leaders and functional teams to help analyze, plan, and achieve forecast/budget goals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare daily and weekly sales reports, monthly financial reporting, and ad-hoc analysis for management.
• Review business results and KPIs.
• Ensure appropriate compilation of information into consolidated reports.
• Support Americas Finance team in implementing controls and supporting analysis to ensure accuracy of the financial information.
• Help improve existing reporting processes and create efficiencies.
• Assist in the annual budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close processes.
• Assist with updating forecast models for retail and eCommerce in partnership with department leaders.
• Adapt to changes, manage several assignments simultaneously, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and working independently within established guidelines.
• Perform under deadlines and demonstrate willingness to work long hours if needed to complete projects on time.
• Comfortable working with large data sets and summarizing data.
• Additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 0-2 years of professional experience in accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, or related field.
• ERP / accounting software experience a plus, particularly Full Circle or HFM.
• Knowledge of Financials Statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) required.
• Understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
• Manage their time to meet tight deadlines while remaining organized, detail-oriented, accurate and thorough.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint (Macro scripting a plus).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
• Flexibility to perform effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• This position requires some hours at our HQ in Costa Mesa, CA; however, some duties can be performed remotely.

Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is $60,000 - $75,000. This position is Hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
