WHAT YOU’LL DO :

The Global Raw Materials Analyst organizes and executes trim data across all entities within the Liberated Brands’ portfolio to gain visibility into when, where and how much of all trims we use.

This strategy enables Liberated Brands to accurately report on sustainability goals, negotiate better raw materials costs, improve the quality of the raw materials we use, and position raw materials for production.

Swift problem solving, good interpersonal, organizational, time-management, and analytical skills are key to performing this position well.

partnering with PD and Merch to resolve data discrepancies and communicate back to supplier.

• Pull seasonal reports and ensure correct trim and care codes are entered in BOMs prior to production.
• Analyze raw material needs seasonally and provide suppliers with seasonal forecast.
• Facilitate system programming for new trims with Liberated Brands’ nominated label & packaging supplier.
• Provide strategic & tactical support to Production for issues and delays related to trim.
• Support Production with onboarding of new vendors to label & packaging ordering process.
• Maintain composition and garment parts in care label matrix.
• Responsible for obtaining language translations for label & packaging as needed.
• Assist M&D with mass updating BOMs as needed.
• Support Senior Manager of Trims with creating production reference manuals and resources.
• Enables a culture of continuous process improvement; identifies opportunities for process improvement at a functional level.
• Monitors calendar milestones and consistently executes to deadlines to ensure no delays in production.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED :

• 3-5 years of work experience in apparel or trim production.
• Strong data processing and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, formulas)
• Ability to quickly learn new database systems; experience with PLM and ERP systems preferred.
• Broad understanding of the global label and packaging market; including compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Proactive and highly motivated team player; able to communicate and provide relevant guidance to cross-functional teams effectively and efficiently.
• Rigorous attention to detail; ability to review, proofread, edit, and ensure accuracy of all information.
• Understanding of the product creation process and calendar.
• Operate with a sense of urgency with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of manufacturing realities and constraints; of all facets related to labels and packaging from concept thru production.
• Understanding of Liberated Brands, marketplace competitors, and the retail environment that we sell in.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and business needs.
• Solution-oriented and self-sufficient; able to operate effectively without close supervision to drive solutions and meet deadlines.
• This position requires some on-site hours at our HQ in Costa Mesa, CA; however, some duties can be performed remotely

Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is $26.

45 / hr - $28.85 / hr. This position is hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled.

Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
