Maintenance Technician - $4,300 Sign-On Bonus Eligible
Location : Georgetown, KY Must be a US Citizen or current green card holder.
Pay Rate : $23-35 per hour. Night Shift. $3.00 per hour shift differential.
General Job Description : As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on various types of manufacturing machinery, including manual, semi-automatic, and automatic equipment.
Key responsibilities include :
- Dismantling, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment.
- Reading mechanical blueprints and hydraulic schematics.
- Repairing and fabricating components.
- PLC programming.
- Safely operating a seated forklift.
- Programming, setting up, recovering, and diagnosing robots.
- Identifying and troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Accurately documenting department data and completing required paperwork.
- Practicing safe shut down and lockout / tagout procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum Skills Required :
- Adherence to all safety policies.
- Preferably, experience in steel, forging, or manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge of hand tools.
- Good communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Technical knowledge.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to train others as needed.
- Team player mentality.
Educational Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
