Job Summary:
The Server at Seva Kitchen & Bar, located at voco the Cadence in Niagara Falls, New York, is responsible for creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for all guests. This individual contributor role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Server will report to the Restaurant shift lead and work full time, hourly shifts in our hospitality/restaurant setting.
Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $10 plus tips with weekly pay. Employees will also receive the following benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner
• Provide knowledgeable and helpful information about menu offerings, including customized recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions
• Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar teams
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure all guest requests and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing and resetting tables
• Assist with stocking and restocking of supplies and inventory
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Upsell and promote special menu items or promotions
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Follow all company and restaurant policies and procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine and cocktails
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Time management and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift and carry trays and other items up to 25 pounds
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
