VNS Health is Hiring a Supervisor, NFP Program Near Bronx, NY

Overview

Supervises business analysis, operational workflows, system changes and/or system implementation of the Nurse Family Partnership (NFP program and NFP Alumni Alliance (AA). Ensures program implementation and on-going management of day-to-day program activities meet the expectations of external and internal partners. Assists the team members with issues and provides business and administrative support to the respective VNS Health program. Updates, monitors and maintains all tracking systems necessary for timely transactions, collections and reconciliations. Develops goals, objectives and key results and works with direct reports to achieve them.

Compensation:

$63,800.00 - $79,800.00 Annual

* Receives and reviews reports and determines required documentation needed to prepare timely submission for appropriate funding sources and VNS Health leadership. Monitors and reviews reports and follows up to ensure information needed is received and processed for all admissions within the established guidelines.* Provides support to clinical staff and management.* Assists with the preparation of correspondence, data and drafting of materials for presentations, reports, and publications* Leads the development and design of NFPAA program, which includes workflows, operational analyses and quality metrics. Leads and coordinates implementation with other departments.* Identifies operational issues that require modifications to systems and/or workflows. Provides recommendations to address such issues* Collaborates with VNS Health internally on reconciliation of client/provider accounts. Tracks, monitors, compiles and collects, data. Prepares and provides necessary information, including investigation and verification of insurance, as needed.* Coordinates delivery of program services including outreach, enrollment of new members, scheduling programs and tracking delivery of services* Works with VNS Health staff on projects and provides professional assistance to management and staff collecting, compiling and preparing the data for specific projects, as needed.* Monitors performance of staff to ensure the delivery of service and compliance with all corporate policies, state regulations and accrediting body standards.* Acts as a resource to new clerical staff in addressing complex or problematic issues. Assists management in training of new staff. Provides feedback on training progress of new or less experienced employees.* Collaborates with internal and external partners to meet needs of the program. Communicates results to management and partners, as needed.* Manages program meetings, including preparing agendas, recording/distributing minutes and following up on action items and related tasks.* Performs all duties inherent in a supervisory role. Ensures effective staff training, interviews candidates for employment, evaluates staff performance and recommends hiring, promotions, salary actions, and terminations, as appropriate. Delegates relevant tasks to support staff as needed. * Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Public Health, Healthcare Administration, a related field of study or the equivalent work experience requiredMaster's Degree Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field of study preferred
Work Experience:
