We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Specialist. The Logistics Specialist has the primary responsibility to process product sales orders including the daily receipt and shipment of computer equipment for our customers. This role is on-site in our San Antonio office.

What you will do:

• Receive and ship (domestically and internationally) computer equipment and record/track orders in the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
• Responsible for sales orders processing in the ERP system
• Provides support for international shipping
• Always maintain inventory storage in a neat and orderly condition; may assist with assembling systems as required
• Responsible to successfully manage multiple orders and projects
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• Proactive communication and coordinate customer equipment delivery with Logistics, Sales & Assembly team
• Flexibility to work extended hours as required, including every quarter-end timeframe
• Coordinate with the sales team to promote accurate and timely processing/shipment of orders for customers
• Review/retrieve/update orders in the computer database and track shipments across multiple channels
• Support with the maintenance of logistics policies, procedures, support plans, similar data and look for ways to enhance efficiency
• Assist with the implementation and continuous improvement of systems to train and instruct, and to control the flow of information for international supply chain operations
• Maintain internal and external documentation integrity
• Conduct research on transportation methods, rates, and routes.
• Develop a program to audit and monitor carrier rates and charges and evaluate past performance and cost of transportation
• Collaborate and build relationships with carriers, forwarders, and agent representatives regarding air and ocean transport to strengthen service competitiveness and support enhanced visibility of goods in the supply chain
• Hands on experience with UPS World Ship, FedEx.com Ship Manager, and DHL International Shipping

What you will bring:

• 3 years of previous experience in logistics (International shipping experience)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Working knowledge of computer systems and cargo management software (ERP experience preferred)
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. minimum
• Experience in MS Dynamics ERP (Business Central) and CRM systems preferred
• Proactive team player who addresses issues promptly and provides complete solutions to both internal and external stakeholders in a continuously changing environment.
• Inventory/Logistics experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required
• Excellent organizational and time management skills a must
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem resolution skills
