This is a field position visiting providers 5 days a week; remote office

COMPENSATION: $70,000 - $80,000 / yr. plus bonus

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The individual in this role will utilize their sales experience to thrive in a growing fast-paced environment, by playing a vital role identifying and building community-based relationships with healthcare professionals. This individual will work in a manner that is consistent with State and Federal regulations, while abiding by company policies, procedures, and guidelines set forth for the role.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Individuals are required to have safe and reliable transportation to travel within their defined territory.
  • Individuals must meet with a variety of healthcare professionals face to face to deliver effective messaging, educating them on the company’s comprehensive services and benefits offered to patients.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities while maintaining existing relationships and reporting intel of any market changes.
  • Apply consultative selling to successfully overcome objections and/or concerns for referring providers and their patients.
  • Assess provider’s infusion needs and provide education of Vivo’s full line of services which include, but-are not limited to intake process, benefits verification, clinical excellence, patient services, provider support, and cost-effective care.
  • Analyze and conduct regular territory business and sales analysis.
  • Work with pharmaceutical sales representatives to develop strategies while identifying targets and treatments that would increase referral pipelines.
  • Pursue continuous professional development opportunities and stay up to date with the latest medical data and trends in the industry.
  • Meet or exceed budgeted goals set forth for assigned territory.

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and analyze data to strategize and execute a competitive advantage.
  • Keep accurate recording and documentation in CRM for reporting of daily activities.
  • Evaluate areas and opportunities within the region for growth and business development.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks including expense reporting in a compliant and timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty exceptionally. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience generating revenue through business-to-business referrals.
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare work experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma, or GED.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license and automobile insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical partners, as well as other vendors.
  • Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships with teammates at all levels of the organization.
  • Must demonstrate learning agility, problem solving and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Passionate about patient care and improving patient outcomes.
  • Highly motivated with a a proven track record of managing sales territory while meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computers (MS Office) Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, Customer Relationship management software
  • Ability to travel for conferences and or events.
  • Private, secured internet connection is required for remote and hybrid positions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This is an in field position 5 days a week, visiting providers. Travel within territory, 90%.

While performing the duties of this job the employee may occasionally lift and/or move 5 -10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color differentiation, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand; walk and talk, hear and smell. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
