We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you have a passion for dentistry and excellent patient care, we encourage you to apply.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed

Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry
- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Experience with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or CAD
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Ability to follow strict aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
- Competency in taking and developing dental X-rays
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
