We are looking for a Program Coordinator to support the overall goal of offering various programs, presentations, and workshops that meet the needs of older adults and provide community connection. These programs include social, recreational, nutritional, and educational focuses. With support from the Healthy Aging Programs Leaders, the Program Coordinator works closely with other team members and organizations in the planning, developing, and implementing of current and new programs/activities offered to participants.

Requirements

Some Essential Functions:

• Plan and organize classes/events that address the needs of the community based on surveys, client interest, and current applicable research
• Plan and schedule classes/events in partnership with the Healthy Aging Programs Leaders every month for the Newsletter, website, and other communication and outreach channels
• Contribute to set-up and break-down for classes/events. 
• In partnership with the Healthy Aging Programs Leaders, provide communication and leadership to volunteers who are supporting and/or delivering active and healthy aging programs 
• Record daily class participation and accurately enter the data into Salesforce and other designated reporting trackers and mechanisms

Qualifications should include:

• Experience in event planning, organizing, and promotion
• Experience working with a volunteer force preferred
• Knowledge of principles and methods used in organizing, conducting, supervising, and measuring programs and activities 
• Experience with performing data collection and reporting with high attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Knowledgeable in safety practices and procedures
• Ability to meet deadlines, employ strong organizational skills, and juggle multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently, with receptivity to feedback, and as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits:

• $25-$28 hourly (depending on experience)
