Position: Caregiver
The aging process causes loss of ability to care for one's self. Our company believes in sourcing compassionate, hard-working caregivers to care and advocate for our clients.
Viva Health is a non-medical in-home support services agency licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Our fast-growing agency is searching for caregivers to be a part of our team. Please review below what we are looking for in a caregiver and see if you would be interested in applying for an opportunity to be a part of what we believe in.

Who are we looking for?
Skilled, professional caregivers who truly care about the people they are serving and are compassionate towards their needs. We're looking for those who understand the importance of being a strong communicator, caring listener, and overall professional in taking care of the well-being of our clients.
What are the minimum requirements?
-Minimum of two years experience working with the elderly
-Valid Driver's license
-Valid Car Insurance
-Current physical exam records (within a year) with a two-step TB test
-COVID VACCINATION card
-Minimum age requirements are 18 years
-Ability to read, write, understand and communicate written instructions
-Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
-Capable of working responsibly with highly confidential information
-Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up 75 lbs.; must be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach
-Specific vision capabilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision
-Must possess sufficient eye/hand coordination to operate adaptive and household equipment
-Ability to establish effective relationships with individuals, families, and team members
-(Preferred, but not limited to) Comfortable in using online Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for documenting, and receiving job assignments.
-Must have a reliable vehicle to transport client for errands.
