VitalTech Group is looking for a full-time Media Buyer / Advertising Manager to coordinate advising for our healthcare facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of marketing and advertising campaigns for various broadcasts, radio, television, digital, and media outlets
• Meet with vendors, prepare plans for media, organizing budgets, and negotiate the costs of advertising buys
• Follow current market trends and understand our target consumer patterns
• Strategize with the management team to determine objectives, audience and budget
• Develop advertising strategies based on historical sales analysis.
• Perform as key contact for media inquiries.
• Negotiate best rates with media vendors
• Ensure buys adhere to buying guidelines, strict clearance goals, and provide strong rationale for any deviations
• Secure added value, when appropriate, and ensure that schedules air accordingly
• Maintain media schedules on a daily basis, checking pre- and post-logs weekly
• Reporting and tracking budgets to ensure accuracy
• Bring innovative thinking and new ideas to the team
• Participate in team brainstorming sessions
• Develop a working knowledge of the company’s goals, guidelines, and strategies
• Proficient with key programs and strong media math skills
• Executing and sending orders, confirming schedules, monitoring under delivery and maintaining media vendor relations
• Responsible for reconciling invoices and resolving buy discrepancies

About You

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 5 years of media buying experience within agency and/or client environment required
• 5 or more years' media buying experience including but not limited to radio and TV, healthcare preferred
• Must have experience buying Direct Response Radio Advertising Campaigns
• Must have extensive marketplace knowledge, strong vendor relationships in all national media disciplines
• Exceptional negotiation skills
• Must possess exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills
• Able to work with teams and independently, handle multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines under pressure
• Excellent work ethic, detail-oriented, organized, and consistent follow through
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
