Visual Computer Solutions is Hiring a Software Sales Representative Near Freehold, NJ

VCS is a proprietary software company in the workforce management arena. The Software Sales Representative that we are seeking should have a has a strong software sales background, and a proven track record of success in sales. This individual can identify new markets and customer prospects, establish relationships with new customers, and secure SaaS contracts that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets as well as strengthen relationships with existing customers. The goal of the Software Sales Representative is to meet and surpass VCS expectations to drive rapid and sustainable growth for the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
  • Up sell new products and features to existing customer base
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as cold calling and face to face meetings
  • Consult with prospects about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each
  • Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers
  • Draft and deliver proposals and RFP's
  • Continuously enhance knowledge on new products, procedures, services and tools by attending departmental and training meetings
  • Report on sales activity, updating and tracking forecasting projections in Salesforce
  • Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods
  • Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns and engaging prospect strategies by studying prospects’ buying behaviors and other metrics
  • Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation
  • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; bench marking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Requirements:

  • Recent and relevant experience as a Sales Associate in a SaaS software environment
  • Consistent and proven track record of success in closing business and creating and managing a pipeline of opportunities
  • A proven network of business contacts in mid-and-senior level management positions and a history of working with these individuals to meet business needs
  • Excellent prospecting and presentation skills
  • Ability to meet with prospects on site and delivery presentations and demonstrations at prospect facility
  • Outstanding “people” skills
  • Must be able to submit to a background check as well as the signing of an NDA and Non-Compete agreements
  • Highly motivated, goal-driven and energetic individual with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with senior level management in the delivery of reports on sales activity
  • Solid working knowledge of company software, technology and infrastructure
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce CRM and related sales tools and methods
