Job Summary

This position will support the Vistra Energy Retail Financial Planning and Analysis team with a focus on the following:
Driving financial projections, analysis of actual results, and internal / external reporting packages
Coordinating efforts across multiple stakeholders including Retail Sales and Operations, Accounting, Risk, and Wholesale Supply teams analysis.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

*Lead Retail financial performance analysis across multiple lines of business and regional markets throughout the country

*Coordinate with stakeholders to understand and communicate results to business leaders

*Structures, plans and coordinates the financial projection and internal/external reporting processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy

*Hold others accountable, maintain deadlines, and ensure a well-organized process with a focus on continuous improvement

*Understand interaction of financial drivers and drill into variances to Plan and prior year to find meaningful business impacts

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements

*Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

*5 years of progressive Finance / Accounting experience

*Strong Excel and PowerPoint technical skills

*Experience working with data and ability to query and analyze data in an efficient manner

*Working knowledge of key financial, accounting and business metrics

*Ability to interface with and resolve issues with multiple stakeholders

Key Metrics

*Ensure thatbudgets and financial plans submitted by lines of business, and provide constructive feedback to businesses

*Solve problems that require constructive thinking and imaginative approaches using data-driven analysis
